VICTORIA, Texas (AP) — An early-morning fire Saturday destroyed a Texas mosque that was a target of hatred several years ago and experienced a burglary just a week ago.

A clerk at a convenience store spotted smoke and flames billowing from the Islamic Center of Victoria at around 2 a.m. and called the fire department.

“It’s sad to stand there and watch it collapse down, and the fire was so huge,” Shahid Hashmi, the Islamic center’s president, said. “It looks completely destroyed.”

Victoria Fire Marshal Tom Legler asked for help from the Texas Fire Marshal’s Office and federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to determine what caused the blaze. Hashmi said authorities have told him it was too early to speculate.

“None whatsoever right now,” the center director said. “We don’t have any lead or information as to what started the fire and what happened. So I’m sure it’s going to be a few days, they told us, before they can come up with any answers for us.”

The congregation’s pastor, known as an imam, was awake in the early morning hours and checked online surveillance of the mosque and found no alarm active and the doors unlocked, Hashmi said. On Jan. 21, someone broke in and stole some electronics, including laptops.

“He was worried about it and drove over there,” Hashmi said. “By that time, fire engines were already there pouring water on the fire.”

The structure was built in 2000.

No injuries were reported. It took about four hours to extinguish the blaze.

Hashmi, who’s lived in Victoria 32 years, said the congregation of about 140 has had few other problems and has enjoyed support from the city of about 115 miles southwest of Houston. He already has received offers of temporary quarters for the congregation to worship.

“When 9/11 happened, Muslims and non-Muslims, we all got together,” he said. “Of course, we will rebuild.”

The Victoria Advocate on Saturday reported ( ) that in July 2013, a man admitted to painting “H8,” a computer shorthand for “hate,” on the outside of the building.

On Jan. 7, a mosque under construction near Lake Travis in Austin was burned to the ground.

The Texas office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations said like that blaze, it would monitor the investigation of the Victoria fire.

“Because of growing anti-Muslim bigotry in our nation, and because of the recent spike in hate incidents targeting Islamic institutions and individuals, we urge investigators to keep the possibility of a bias motive for this fire in mind,” CAIR-Houston Executive Director Mustafaa Carroll said.

There’s been no determination yet for the Austin blaze, Diane Kanawati, with CAIR-Austin, said Saturday.

In December, a man was sentenced to four years in prison for setting fire to a Houston mosque where he worshipped. Gary Nathaniel Moore pleaded guilty to arson and using a fire as a deadly weapon in a Dec. 25, 2015, blaze that caused significant damage at the Islamic Society of Greater Houston mosque.

Who started this fire and why? Was it some racist radical white guy? Are they afraid?

What’s the fear? Let’s say it’s a hate crime. Let’s say it’s all about them being Muslims and certain folks don’t want them here worshipping their god. Well think on that for a moment. What did the English do?  Basically they set up camp wherever they went and forced their religion down the throats of others. The Catholic Church is notorious for this. If you don’t know about conversions, then you need to understand history. During that time BEFORE taking the land from the Native Americans, they came here to boast about their religion and to TURN what they called SAVAGES into civilized structured human beings. That’s what it took to ACTUALLY take over the land. An attempt to brainwash and cause them to turn away from their gods. Native Americans weren’t having it. They were steadfast on their faith or choice of worship. Then came the African. It was much easier to convert us, and they did.

So is the fear today all about that? I think so. A natural fear is that KARMA will bite you on the ass. And a lot more people feel like they are going to pay for what happened back then. People of Christian faith already know how to control other Christians. They know the scriptures to transform a strong woman into a kneeling, begging sheep. It’s worked for years. But when it comes to Muslims, Americans aren’t used to the Koran (Quran). That’s right. The American infidel has no clue how to deal with this ignorance of their book and they see the Muslim religion and community as a huge threat to their safety. And dammit I don’t blame them.

But my problem is, what are you upset or scared about? We already have our terrorist hate group here in America. It’s the KKK. And they go by biblical principles as well. So what’s the difference? Both books teach hate and intolerance. So how can you accept one book without recognizing that they are equally damaging? Both religious groups are cherry pickers and they decide what scriptures are relevant for today and what isn’t. According to the bible, homosexuality is an abomination unto God. But yet, America has made it legal nationwide. They went completely against God’s word.

I could care less. I’m Atheist. It doesn’t matter to me. But when I see hypocrites coming from every direction, I can’t help but frown upon all of them. Today, people decide what’s comfortable to accept in their lives when it comes to the holy Scriptures. But if they took it at face value, well, you’d have Exactly what we have today. But it would be worse. The Bible teaches how slaves are supposed to be treated. Well, AMERICA didn’t follow that shit at all. They broke every fucking verse from the KJV when it came to blacks being slaves.

Watch this

Fair Treatment of Slaves Exodus 21 NLT

21 “These are the regulations you must present to Israel.

“If you buy a Hebrew slave, he may serve for no more than six years. Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom. If he was single when he became your slave, he shall leave single. But if he was married before he became a slave, then his wife must be freed with him.

“If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave and they had sons or daughters, then only the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and children will still belong to his master. But the slave may declare, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children. I don’t want to go free.’ If he does this, his master must present him before God.[a] Then his master must take him to the door or doorpost and publicly pierce his ear with an awl. After that, the slave will serve his master for life.

“When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not satisfy her owner, he must allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her.But if the slave’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave but as a daughter.

10 “If a man who has married a slave wife takes another wife for himself, he must not neglect the rights of the first wife to food, clothing, and sexual intimacy. 11 If he fails in any of these three obligations, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment.

Cases of Personal Injury

12 “Anyone who assaults and kills another person must be put to death.13 But if it was simply an accident permitted by God, I will appoint a place of refuge where the slayer can run for safety. 14 However, if someone deliberately kills another person, then the slayer must be dragged even from my altar and be put to death.

15 “Anyone who strikes father or mother must be put to death.

16 “Kidnappers must be put to death, whether they are caught in possession of their victims or have already sold them as slaves.

17 “Anyone who dishonors[b] father or mother must be put to death.

Yall ain’t following shit right! Lol Don’t give me the KJV versus the translation I’m using. You know exactly what it means and folks ain’t listening. They have made up their minds on what’s relevant and what isn’t. And when I see or hear of a Muslim extremist, I don’t get upset. I realize that he or she is getting their information from a book.

Among the most often cited verses is this one: “Kill the idolaters wherever you find them, and capture them, and blockade them, and watch for them at every lookout…” (Quran 9:5). … The “idolaters” (Arabic: mushrikeen) were those Meccan “pagans” who had declared war against Muhammad and his community.

Idolater,,, a person who worships an idol or idols. False gods… Jesus Christ even?

More from The Quran

Quran (4:104)“And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain…” Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense?

Quran (5:33)“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”

Quran (8:12)“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them” No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle.  The targets of violence are “those who disbelieve” – further defined in the next verse (13) as “defy and disobey Allah.” Nothing is said about self-defense.  In fact, the verses in sura 8 were narrated shortly after a battle provoked by Muhammad, who had been trying to attack a lightly-armed caravan to steal goods belonging to other people.

Quran (8:15)“O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them. (16)Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless maneuvering for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey’s end.”

Quran (8:39)“And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah” Some translations interpret “fitna” as “persecution”, but the traditional understanding of this word is not supported by the historical context (See notes for 2:193). The Meccans were simply refusing Muhammad access to their city during Haj. Other Muslims were allowed to travel there – just not as an armed group, since Muhammad had declared war on Mecca prior to his eviction. The Meccans were also acting in defense of their religion, since it was Muhammad’s intention to destroy their idols and establish Islam by force (which he later did). Hence the critical part of this verse is to fight until “religion is only for Allah”, meaning that the true justification of violence was the unbelief of the opposition. According to the Sira (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 324) Muhammad further explains that “Allah must have no rivals.”

Quran (8:57)“If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.”

Quran (8:67)“It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land…

Quran (8:59-60)“And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah’s Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy.”

And that’s just a few…

And for Christians

2 John 1:9-11

Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.

2 Corinthians 6:14

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

1 Corinthians 15:33

Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”

1 Corinthians 7:13-14

If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.

Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.

Matthew 7:21-23

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

1 Corinthians 5:9-13

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

2 Corinthians 4:4

In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2 Chronicles 15:12-13

And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul, but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Psalm 14:1

To the choirmaster. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.

Now this is a LOT of information. But I’m telling you that the watered down version of the NEW TESTAMENT ain’t shit when it comes to the OT. HERE’S a peek into the life of Solomon who loved women from all over… This is from I KINGS chapter 11: 1-…..

I could have been a preacher. Lol I’d be rich. I’m so good at teaching. Anyway. Listen this scripture is completely condoning racism and discrimination. The god of Abraham didn’t like mixing races. That’s why he gave the people different language. He didn’t want them mixing and talking to each other. Remember the people who tried to build the stairway to heaven? Well he scrambled their languages. Hence you have BABEL. The god of the OT was very racist, sexist, just bad. He had his CHOSEN people and that’s all he cared about. And he had no problem telling his people to conquer the land. What? You need scriptures. Lol

Basically we have the story of JOSHUA.

YUP that’s right he and many many other men were lead by God to take land that wasn’t there’s. Sound familiar? Lol either folks are following instructions or a book was created to create blame and give justification.

Yeah Joshua 23; 1-24 is an entire story of a man conquering land. Maybe god told the English that he had a land for them but it just so happened to be occupied by the Native American. Do you know how many stories like this are in the old testament? Thousands. All they did was take land and murder and loot. And God ordered it all.

So who decided to get rid of ‘what’ in the Bible? See, I don’t get upset when I see racism. It hurts terribly. BUT I understand why we have it. GOD and them scriptures. You can’t get mad at the KKK When they have a book that seems to condone hating other races and driving them out of your land. The bible is left to interpretation. And people decide what they want to get. But when it’s plainly in your face, don’t try to deny it. What part of DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY don’t you understand? Some of the stuff is just plain as day. And yeah we may not be sacrificing animals anymore. But it doesn’t mean there wasn’t a sacrifice. Hmmm, supposedly that was Jesus. And if anyone doesn’t believe in Jesus they will perish. John 3:16, Not my words. I’m just telling you the book that millions read for guidance is kinda fucked up.

I LOVE WRITING. I feel like I’m giving you a piece of me and my heart. I want you to come from under the bondages. And we have to understand that every hate group has some form of religion that they are following. And you can say it’s misconstrued if you want. But once again, people interpret it as they please. I understand every hate group, but I support none. I’m just grateful for having the opportunity to see the big picture.

The big picture?

This shit ain’t never gonna change. America has mosques everywhere. They let them in and ain’t nothing to be done about today except for strict monitoring and refusing to let others in. But while we are trying to get a grip on Muslims, we might want to look at the extreme Christian. We might want to try and combat that racist, nasty attitude towards blacks in America and we might wanna work on our own terrorist. Christians can be just as bad. The KKK are a Christian group who claims to love Jesus but would hang a black man without any mercy. Fix that.
